Die Corona-Impfungen in den Regensburger Pflegeeinrichtungen sind abgeschlossen. Es fehlt jedoch noch immer Impfstoff, um alle über 80-Jährigen in der Stadt zu impfen. Indes läuft auch in Regensburg die Impfung von Polizeibeamten an.
Die Corona-Impfungen in den Regensburger Pflegeeinrichtungen sind abgeschlossen. Nur noch vereinzelt werden Personen für eine Impfung nachgemeldet, so die Stadt. Weiterhin im Blick hat das Impfzentrum die über 80-Jährigen: Wöchentlich erhalten rund 1.000 Senioren, die noch zu Hause wohnen, ihre Erstimpfung.
„Leider haben wir immer noch nicht genügend Impfstoff, der an über 80-Jährige verimpft werden kann. Ich hoffe aber sehr, dass die Impfstoffmenge ab April konsequent nach oben geht“, so Richard Leberle, ärztlicher Leiter des Impfzentrums. Laut Empfehlung der Ständige Impfkommission (STIKO) sollen an über 65-Jährige aktuell nur der zugelassene Impfstoff von Biontech und Moderna verimpft werden.
Impfstoff wird unverzüglich verimpft
Das Impfzentrum weist nochmals daraufhin, dass in Regensburg kein Impfstoff zurückgehalten wird: Die gelieferten Impfstoffe werden unverzüglich an die Personen der Priorität 1 verimpft.
Polizisten in Regensburg erhalten Impfung
Die Bayerische Polizei erhält in dieser Woche an bayernweit zwölf Standorten eine Erstimpfung – so auch in Regensburg. Diese Impfung läuft nicht über das Impfkontingent des städtischen Impfzentrums. Die Impfdosen der Herstellerfirma AstraZeneca werden direkt über das Bayerische Staatsministerium des Innern, für Sport und Integration zur Verfügung gestellt, da die Polizisten im Streifendienst und in den Einsatzeinheiten einem erhöhten Infektionsrisiko ausgesetzt sind.
